“You can't expect to become a brilliant dancer overnight, but practice makes you perfect.”1
Pankaj Advani, Sachin Tendulkar, M.F. Hussain people who are impeccable in their own fields. They were not born perfect, but practice made them perfect, and their perfection made them famous. Any man achieves his goals by learning from his mistakes, but a man becomes successful by learning from others mistakes. Each person is different from the other in some or the other way, each has its own capability and has a different view to the same thing that is perceive things differently and there’s a reason why someone believes in something. This is where I come across the word perception and reasoning which are my ways of knowing. In this piece of writing I will include natural sciences and human sciences as my areas of knowledge.
Protection is curing or defending something. Research is the systematic investigation into and study of materials and sources in order to establish facts and reach new conclusions.2. Error is a measure of the estimated difference between the observed or calculated value of a quantity and its true value.3.Bias is Prejudice in favor of or against one thing, person, or group compared with another, usually in a way considered to be unfair.4.
To start with let me come to an example. In earlier days it was believed that earth is flat. There were theories and evidences to support the theory, although later in future the theory was proved wrong due to different perceptions to the same thing. When you see ocean from a distance, you see water all over, and a person would end up concluding that the earth is flat, so did the scientists that time did, may be due to lack of resources available. But later when other scientists saw a boat in the ocean from a distance they could see it disappear when it moved ahead in any direction. Although the curvature of the earth is nearly 0 per mile, yet flat-earth theory was proved wrong. This is advancement. But with this advancement our knowledge is retiring everyday, the hard works of scientists concluding about the shape of the earth in those days is a wrong history now. So what today we are studying or what we know is going to expire when tomorrow a new scientist comes up with his new theory. To what extent is constant re-testing each other’s results helping the scientists to come up with unbiased and error free theories?
